Hello, My Sisters!
Let’s count them 1, 2, 3… . What the heck, let’s get to it! First, I’m still deciding on the man question. I’ll let you know by next Friday.
Second, I wanna talk about boosting. For the new writers, MP is a nominating for a boost pub. That means we, the (editors), get to nominate a given number of drafts a week, and the curators (boosters) choose which ones are boosted across Medium’s platform. In short, those articles get more eyes on them.
But, in order to get boosted, you have to meet certain criteria. If you want to get boosted, it’s best not to mention Medium or others using the @ symbol in the body of your draft. (The previous sentence is my opinion, only.)
Plus, read over the submission guidelines. For those of you who have been with us for the past five years, we updated some things.
Third, did ya’ll hear about Medium’s new policy about using AI? Here’s the down-low! In addition, read the email I received about up-coming changes beginning on May 1, 2024. Very Important!
