That is so sad, Carol. I left the church for 18 yrs but for other reasons. However, in 2008 I had a divine encounter that transformed me. I experienced a reality shift. I thank God He never left me, in fact, He chased after me. You are a courageous woman for exposing the hypocrisy and abuse inflicted upon you. Thank you for this post!
