I have always bought ethnic dolls for my daughters and granddaughters because they are bi-racial. I hate to say it, but as they grow older, color does come into play. It seems, at least in Tulsa, that the kids tend to gravitate toward people who look like themselves. My clan, for the most part, identifies with the African-American culture. I think this was a great piece and I agree wholeheartedly.
